Here you can fill in an application for early childhood education and care, an application for a service voucher for private early childhood education or enrol your child to preschool education.

The application will be valid for one year from the date of submission.

The application information is stored in the early childhood education customer information system. The suggestion for an early childhood education place, service decision and payment decisions are published in Edlevo App for guardians who have accepted the use of e-services. The guardian must start using the Edlevo App after submitting the application. The instructions for using the Edlevo App and the description of file of the customer information system are available on the early childhood education website.

Registration of children born in 2019 for preschool education starting on 18.8.2025. Application period 9.1.2025 at 8.00- 31.1.2025 at 17.00. The preschool application is only available in Finnish and Swedish.

The application period for foreign-language early childhood education and care (English) for children born in 2020 is 20.-31.1.2025.

Please note that if you submit several applications belonging to the same application type on the same day, only the information on the most recent application will be stored in the information system.
